Scott Crenshaw, FreeYourID Senior Vice President, Products

As senior vice president of products, Scott Crenshaw leads the development of FreeYourID's new products and services.

Before joining FreeYourID in 2013, Crenshaw was senior vice president, strategy, and chief marketing officer for Acronis, Inc., a data backup and recovery solutions provider. He served eight years in executive positions at Red Hat, Inc., most recently as vice president and general manager of the cloud business unit and, previously, in the same capacity for the company's Linux platform business unit.

Prior to Red Hat, Crenshaw was the chief executive officer of NTRU Cryptosystems, Inc., a provider of embedded security solutions. He held a number of executive positions at enterprise software vendor Datawatch Corporation, including vice president of business development and vice president of product development. Early in his career he co-founded a networking startup.

Crenshaw holds a Bachelor of Science in computer science from North Carolina State University and a Master of Business Administration from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was a Sloan Fellow at the Sloan School of Management.
