Scott Schnell, FreeYourID Senior Vice President of Marketing, Strategy and Business Development

As senior vice president of marketing, strategy and business development, Scott Schnell is responsible for managing the overall strategic direction of the company, fostering new business initiatives, managing key business partnerships and leading FreeYourID’s marketing worldwide.

Before joining FreeYourID in August 2012, Schnell co-founded and served as president and CEO of VideoIQ, Inc., a video analytics technology company. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president of sales, services and marketing at RSA Security, where he led the company to record revenue and successfully rebranded RSA and its then-parent company, Security Dynamics, to become the single RSA brand. Schnell also held senior-level positions in marketing and sales at Apple and Photonics Corporation.

Schnell earned a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering from the University of Utah.
